COMMUNITY BENEFITS
The proposed development at 5831 Columbia Pike is currently envisioned to include approximately 160 affordable residential units, with a focus on serving families and individuals across a range of income levels.
The Columbia Crossroads project will deliver open space designed to serve both new residents and surrounding neighborhoods. The design reinforces pedestrian safety and connectivity with enhanced sidewalks, crosswalks, and bike lanes.
The project anticipates non-residential space designed anchor essential services onsite through a non-profit service hub, such as education, health care, or workforce development services. The non-residential space would support long-term investment in the neighborhood, as both housing and services would be brought together in a single space. The development team will capture community input on a potential shared space during its outreach sessions.
