PROJECT TIMELINE
Over the next year, the project team will focus on finalizing plans and securing the necessary county approvals, with continued opportunities for community input along the way. We expect to complete this process by the end of the year, with financing to follow in 2027. Construction could begin in early 2028 and is anticipated to take about two years to complete.

- Development team selected by the Fairfax County Redevelopment & Housing Authority (FCRHA) to redevelop 5831 Columbia Pike
December 2025
- Met with Mason District Supervisor Andres Jimenez
- Development team signed an Interim Agreement with FCRHA
- Pre-Application meeting with Fairfax County Planning staff
January 2026
- Met with Mason District Planning Commissioner Alis Wang
- First community meeting
